1. What is a french drain?

A perforated pipe that is placed at the perimeter of your basement, under the concrete. When water seeps into the pipe, it’s directed to a sump pump and out of your home.

2. Do I need a sump pump or do I need a french drain?

Great question! Typically, that depends on how much flooding you have and where it is. If the flooding is localized, a sump pump should do the trick. If there’s flooding throughout your basement, you’ll likely need a French drain, which is a more comprehensive solution. When we come down for a quote, we’ll discuss the pros and cons of both solutions and which is the better fit for your home.

3. Do you offer a warranty?

YES! Our French drains have a lifetime warranty.

4. How long does it take to install?

Most basements are done in just one day. Large or complex jobs can take two or three days.

5. Are you licensed? Are you insured?

Yes, we are fully licensed and insured.

6. Do you offer payment plans or financing?

Unfortunately no, but our pricing is very competitive.

7. How long have you been doing this for?

We’d have to check out your basement first to make sure this is the right solution for you. If yes, then it will take care of those water woes — forever!

9. I have a sump pump. Why isn’t that working?

Sump pumps can clog, overheat, lose power, or the float switch can fail. Check to make sure it’s plugged in and that the circuit is running properly. If it is, call us and we’ll come down to check that the float switch is in the correct place and your system is clear of any debris.

10. How much do French drains and sump pumps cost?

Sump pump pricing varies, depending on the pump solution that works best for your home. French drains are priced by linear foot and exterior waterproofing is priced by square foot. We’ll be able to give you an exact quote after we’ve measured your basement and/or home exterior.
